The Patient Access Representative (PAR) is responsible for greeting patients or guests in a friendly and courteous manner. The PAR is also responsible for the check-in and check-out functions by obtaining accurate patient demographic information, financial information, and insurance information, obtaining necessary signatures, and collecting co-pays. The PAR must maintain a neat, professional appearance and an organized work area.

Qualifications required:

ED Registered Nurse (PT Nights)

We’re seeking an energetic and compassionate ER Registered Nurse to join our team and help us revolutionize emergency care in Milwaukee.

Position: ER Registered Nurse (Part-Time, Night Shift)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, efficient, and cost-effective patient care across all age groups (neonates to geriatrics).
  • Perform comprehensive head-to-toe and psychosocial assessments, prioritizing needs based on assessments.
  • Accurately assign triage categories to ensure timely interventions.
  • Supervise ER Techs, Radiology/CT Techs, and support staff.
  • Administer medications following the five rights of medication administration.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
  • Participate in continuing education, staff meetings, and quality improvement activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of ER experience.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current BCLS/CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, ENPC, or TNCC preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.

EMT Paramedic

We’re seeking a dynamic EMT – Paramedic who’s a skilled and trained member of the Emergency Department team whose functions encompass many aspects of patient care. The EMT – Paramedic serves as a liaison between patient/family members of all departments and identifies and resolves problems expressed by patients and other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide patient care and assess medical situations.
  • Record and monitor vital signs and any changes in patient conditions.
  • Coordinate workflows and manage priorities with efficiency.
  • Clean wounds, perform diagnostic measures, and document treatments and procedures.
  • Communicate observations and problems to licensed nursing staff.
  • Ability to navigate Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
  • Follow safety protocols, report accidents, and maintain a safe working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of one year of Emergency Room or Critical Care experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid EMT-P license, in good standing with the Department of State Health Services.
  • Current PALS, ACLS, and Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certifications.
  • Good driving record by AMR Safety and Driving Policy.
